Too many career websites focus on what an organisation wants, rather than potential benefits for the candidate, according to an employment marketing expert.
Talent Table director Andrea Kirby, a researcher and judge of the Top Career Site awards, says potential applicants want to see where a job might take them – but her research shows career websites contain "a sad dearth of information on career opportunities".
