RGF Staffing shifting office use away from "work"

RGF Staffing APEJ is overhauling its approach to office space, in recognition that its people still want to get together, but not necessarily to work, says CEO Peter Acheson.

The company has had a "big focus" on connecting teams, especially because many continue to work under a hybrid model, he tells Shortlist.

"People still want to come to the office for team events and celebrations. They're not necessarily wanting to come to the office to work – they're happy to do that from home – but they still want to stay connected to their team and the business by coming in on a reasonably regular basis to do team lunches and team celebrations."

He notes that across RGF, the "function of the office is going to change", but what that looks like depends on each location...
