Massive uptick in interim executives converting to permanent

The proportion of interim executives converting to permanent employment has risen by 67% over the past year, according to new research by Watermark Search International.

This "massive" rise between 2021 and 2022 highlights growing interest among interim executives to be invited to become permanent, Watermark's annual survey shows.

But equally, given the very tight talent market, more employers are keen to offer permanency after the executive has successfully 'filled a gap' and performed well on an interim basis, it says...
