New KPIs and higher-margin "confidence" in crosshairs at ManpowerGroup

ManpowerGroup's new initiatives to tackle the candidate shortage include KPIs to increase engagement with its database; meanwhile it is offering incentives to help recruiters drive higher margins across the business, MD Penny O'Reilly says.

"We're really trying to focus on the candidates that we have in our database," she tells Shortlist, by introducing KPIs around engaging, placing and retaining these candidates.

The industry tends to focus more on the client side, but O'Reilly says transferring attention to the candidate side is now "really critical"...
