Specialist recruiters expanding, boosting management teams

A construction and mining recruiter is expanding its footprint off the back of a "spectacular" year; meanwhile a white-collar contracting specialist has doubled revenue after investing in headcount and contractor care tools.

Construction and mining recruitment specialist Marble is expanding its footprint, setting up an office in Byron Bay, headed up by associate director Josh Little-Jones.

"With lots of staff interested in being based in the region we saw this as a no-brainer for the business," Marble managing director Gary Denton tells Shortlist.

A double office has been set up in the Habitat Workspace, and comes with a swimming pool and surfboard rack, he adds. "I couldn't imagine saying that two years ago."

The new office will be recruiting technical roles in renewables and rare earths mining throughout Australia, and Denton says the plan is to increase headcount to 10 by 2023...
