Court ruling raises questions on temp-to-perm conversion offers

The Federal Magistrate's Court has rejected an unfair dismissal claim from a labour hire employee, who argued that because the prospect of a temp-to-perm conversion had been raised, he was a "prospective employee" of the host employer and eligible to claim under the Fair Work Act.
