Insurer wins $50k payout deduction for injury allegedly caused by on-hire worker

The insurer of a now-defunct labour hire company has won the right to deduct $50,000 from a payout to the host employer, after a direct employee was injured when an on-hire worker allegedly covered up spilt oil with a piece of cardboard.
