Union wins challenge over recruitment consultation; On-hire company to backpay $35k

An employer's proposed changes to its recruitment process had such potential to affect existing workers that they were entitled to consultation, the Fair Work Commission has ruled. Meanwhile, a labour hire company that mistakenly paid workers under agreement rates instead of an award has agreed to an enforceable undertaking.
