Communication crucial to ward off counter-offers: People2people

Counter-offers have been a strong feature of the recruitment market over the past 12 months and hiring managers should follow certain rules to ensure candidates aren't lured back to their current employer, according to People2people's latest employment and salary trends report.

One in four hiring managers (26%) have reported counter-offers impacting their hiring process. In this group, 82% of candidates have been offered a higher salary.
