Adecco Group lifts profit 21% in Australia

Adecco Group's Australian operations grew net profit by 21% to $3.6 million in calendar 2022, according to its statutory accounts recently filed with ASIC.

Total group revenue rose 3% to $679.7 million as the economy recovered from the COVID slowdown, with flexible revenue up 5% and perm up 23%.

Gross profit was up 6% to $114.4m, but a rise in admin and marketing expenses, together with a $9.6m management and royalty fee paid to Adecco Group's parent company, reduced profit before tax 7% to $4.2m...
