Agency growth calls for new structure, leadership focus

Consecutive years of headcount and revenue growth has prompted Fuse Recruitment to completely overhaul its organisational structure and rethink its approach to promoting future leaders, its CEO says.

The agency has seen 25–35% year-on-year revenue growth for the last five or six years, jumping to 63% over the past 12 months, Tyson McNeilly tells Shortlist.

Meanwhile headcount has grown by 20 (to about 60) in the past 12 months, with further new hires expected by the end of this financial year.

"What it's meant is that we've needed to evolve our org design to support both increasing headcount and also to make sure that we've got the appropriate skills and talent coming through the business to support our customers...
