A commission has rejected a claim for accrued annual leave from a group of on-hire oil and gas workers, in a case with wider ramifications for fly-in-fly-out employees on rotating rosters.
The workers worked on the "even time" roster of three weeks on with 12-hour days and then three weeks off, which is common for remote worksites in the resources sector.
