Australia "quite strong" for Hudson RPO despite "not so great" quarter

Hudson RPO's Australian top line dipped but profitability remained strong in the September quarter, meanwhile the company's latest engagement results show it outperforming the industry, says APAC CEO Kimberley Hubble.

Across APAC and globally, "Q3 was not so great for us", with signs of the US slowdown "having a trickle-on effect" into other regions, she tells Shortlist.

But the Australian business was nonetheless still "quite strong". Revenue decreased 3% (US$0.7m) in the quarter year-on-year, primarily in contracting (down 5%) due to the loss of a customer in the first quarter of 2022.

But RPO recruitment revenue grew by 8% year-on-year due to new client wins and increased demand from existing clients...
