Bluefin expanding interstate, appoints new director

Bluefin Resources is this month expanding into Queensland, appointing a new director to grow the operation into a "significant contributor" for the company, its founder says.

Former Allegis Group GM Rory Herity has been appointed to lead the new Brisbane office, starting next week.

Herity has nearly 20 years' experience, including more than a decade at Ambition, where he was most recently Queensland director. "Rory brings with him a wealth of leadership and recruitment experience across multiple verticals," founder and CEO James Hone says.

The Brisbane launch has been on the agenda for a number of years, while leaders weighed up the "viability of acquisition versus organic growth", he tells Shortlist...
