Branding push drives expansion for award-winning recruiter

A branding push after 'ticking all the boxes' around culture and engagement is enabling new expansion opportunities for an award-winning recruitment company, its GM says.

In her more than 19 years with Entrée Recruitment, general manager Megan Nicholson has aimed to create an environment that "ticks all the boxes" around client care and candidate engagement, and creating a workplace culture "where hopefully no one ever wants to leave!", she tells Shortlist.

"We have the most amazing team here. Some have been here for [13–15] years; the retention rate is really high."

With a headcount of 19, not many new appointments for the business support and finance recruiter have come from within the industry, adds Nicholson, who instead prefers to hire for attitude and culture match.

"Recruitment is such a rollercoaster. It's so fast-paced and such a high-performing culture, so you all have to be all-in and ready for that ride..."
