Candidate research reinforces the value of faster hiring processes

Nearly half of all candidates who reach second interview stage will not wait more than a week to hear back from an employer, with the majority willing to take a less-preferred role if the hiring process is slow, according to a new major candidate survey.

Workforce compliance and background check provider WorkPro surveyed more than 2,400 people from its database for its new whitepaper, which shows candidates are looking for three key things in a recruitment process: speed; ease of use; and transparency.

Some 44.4% of respondent say they won't wait more than a week for an offer after a second interview. This includes 37.5% of candidates aged between 25–34; and 23.2% aged 35–44...
