Caution creeping in despite "insatiable" demand for recruiters

Demand for experienced recruiters continues to be "insatiable" and the rec-to-rec market has never been busier, but some signs may be pointing to a slowdown.

There is always strong demand for recruiters, but appetite for experienced consultants has "been insatiable" since October 2020, Greenbridge Recruitment managing director Adrian Carty tells Shortlist.

"Recruitment companies are finding it harder than ever to find experienced recruiters who are in the same market," he says.

Where in the past many recruiters would move agencies to work the same desk in another firm, "you don't see a huge amount of that happening right now", Carty says.
