Defence confirms Adecco as preferred supplier, "uncertainty" ahead for recruiters

Defence Force Recruiting has confirmed that Adecco is the preferred tenderer for its 10-year, $1 billion RPO contract.

As Shortlist reported last month, Adecco beat out the other shortlisted companies – Accenture, Toll and the incumbent provider Manpower Talent Solutions – for the 10-year deal.

Following contract negotiations, the arrangement is expected to be finalised in October this year, ahead of an eight-month transition period.

The ADF acknowledges that its decision "may cause uncertainty for the current Commonwealth and ManpowerGroup workforce", and says it is communicating with staff to inform them of progress "and what this may mean for individual roles"...
