Employers onboarding overseas talent much more quickly
The approval time for employer-sponsored visas has sped up dramatically, while the number of approvals has almost doubled, according to a migration expert who flags that further positive changes are on the way.
NB Migration Law founder and migration principal lawyer Agnes Kemenes says the influx of international talent is helping to alleviate some skills shortages, but employers still aren't using the system to their full advantage.
