Gender equity has newly become one of the most important drivers for talent when choosing an employer, according to Randstad's latest employer brand research.
Placing fifth this year, equity replaces 'strong management' in the top five. The rest of the list has remained consistent since 2021 with work-life balance ranking first, salary and benefits second, job security third, and good training fourth. (Work atmosphere was fifth throughout 2021-2022.)
"Women, in particular, are more likely to prioritise the importance of equity in an ideal employer," the report says. (Randstad's research involved 6,105 Australian respondents.)
