EY's lateral hire situation "explosive": report

A report scrutinising EY Oceania's workplace culture has shone a spotlight on issues with its recruitment and inclusion, with employees saying internally recruited partners experience a different culture to its "lateral hires".

The independent review into EY Oceania's workplace culture was commissioned following the suicide of a young EY staff member last year. The report makes 27 recommendations to improve the workplace culture, along with five experimental pilot initiatives.
