Four supply-chain models help tackle talent shortage

When recruiters work out how to take a supply chain approach to their hiring practices, they'll "dominate the talent world", according to global thought leader Kevin Wheeler.

Learning from companies such as Amazon and "thinking like supply chain managers" can help to solve talent shortages, Wheeler told the Australasian Talent Conference in Sydney last week.

"The people value chain is just as important as the marketing chain or the product marketing chain," the Future of Talent Institute director says.

"I think that whoever really understands the supply chain, you're going to dominate the talent world because then there will be no talent shortage...
