Greater flexibility and broader pay options attracting more on-hire workers

Two hospitality and healthcare recruitment brands that were becoming "too big" have now merged, with the combined entity doubling down on efforts to give on-hire workers more flexibility and control over their engagements.

Connect Health and Elite Hospitality Personnel have rebranded to become Connect Staffing Group, says director Paul Morrison.

"The two businesses were growing too big, and were getting too messy as they grew. Values weren't aligned, processes weren't aligned and we needed to streamline. We needed for everyone to feel like they were part of one cohesive group," he tells Shortlist.

The new branding also aims to address difficulties attracting candidates into its skills-short specialisations, with a focus on encouraging talent to work when and how it suits them, Morrison says...
