Hays Australia reports fifth quarter of declining gross profit
Hays' Australian net fees declined by 19% year-on-year in the December quarter, the company's latest trading update shows.
This marks the fifth consecutive quarter of falling net fees in Australia, with the last increase recorded in the September 2022 quarter (up 1% year-on-year).
In NSW and Victoria, which account for 51% of Australia, net fees decreased by 24% and 17% (cc) respectively. Net fees fell by 21% in ACT, 14% in WA, and 12% in Queensland...
