Inside the Defence RPO handover: "we're all being very adult about it"

With six months left on the Defence RPO contract, the transition is now fully underway, and all parties are working together on a "seamless" handover with a "people-first" focus, says ManpowerGroup MD Penny O'Reilly.

Since ADF confirmed Adecco as the preferred supplier for its next 10-year, $1 billion RPO contract, ensuring a smooth transition has been ManpowerGroup's key focus, with most other projects on hold, O'Reilly tells Shortlist.

She notes given ManpowerGroup has been the supplier for the most part of 20 years, the loss "wasn't unexpected".

"It would be hard to hold a contract for 30 years with just one provider during that time...
