Interpro sets lofty goal, boosts management team

There is currently no clear leader in the IT and digital recruitment space, according to new Interpro CEO Richard Fischer, who plans to change this with a "deeper" focused strategy and a raft of new managers to drive it.

"Interpro and some others were leaders in IT specialism some years ago, [but] I don't think there is a clear market leader now," says Fischer, who took the reins in November.

Many IT recruitment companies have instead become "more generalist" now, he tells Shortlist, so "we're aiming to capitalise on that with a deep focus on selected IT skillsets, and the opportunity to become the leading provider of specialist IT talent in Australia".

Management has put in place "a clear, go-to-market strategy and operation plan", including adding a range of roles (below) in line with its scaleup plan...
