Key workers "left off recruitment radars"

Six "organisational locks" are preventing employers from reaching overlooked and underleveraged talent, with new research setting out some "key" strategies to overcome them.

All potential jobseekers, whether actively looking for work or open to work, are much more likely to belong to marginalised diversity groups, according to Diversity Council Australia's Inclusive Recruitment report.

But people who belong to multiplemarginalised diversity groups are even more likely to be overlooked, says DCA CEO Lisa Annese.

"Not only are these workers being left off recruitment radars, they are experiencing bias and exclusion in the recruitment process itself – both covertly and overtly," she says...
