'Manipulation' queried on recruiter review platform
Since being queried about the legality of its recruiter review functionality, Sourcr has made numerous updates to its site, but it maintains these are part of its regular improvements and not the result of potential ACCC action.
Last month, Shortlist reported suggestions that Sourcr was potentially breaching Australian Consumer Law (ACL) by allowing its users to make false and misleading claims.
Specifically, the platform (then) allowed users to manually add third-party reviews to a profile, and in doing so edit the content, and add titles and five-star ratings...
