Mars Wrigley gives families a role in hiring process

Mars Wrigley Australia is taking a novel approach to its recruitment, allowing candidates to bring their loved ones into the screening process to ensure the company is the right fit.

"We're always looking for ways to be more innovative when it comes to our recruitment processes, but more than that we've definitely seen a real shift in the questions that we're getting [during the pandemic]," says HR director Katy Halliwell.

The company polled more than 1,000 external workers to really understand the impact of the pandemic "on their priorities when it came to work-life balance", she tells Shortlist.

This also showed 74% of workers rely on their partner's opinion when deciding to change jobs...
