Modis targeting 'future tech' in new specialist strategy

Adecco Group's IT recruitment brand Modis is now embarking on a specialist strategy focused on future technologies and "game changing" partnerships, its new head of talent says.

Adecco Group's IT recruitment brand Modis is now embarking on a specialist strategy focused on future technologies and "game changing" partnerships, says new head of tech talent services Jaryd Wallis.

"Space is absolutely a target market for us," he tells Shortlist.

Modis recently partnered with Microsoft to launch a new skills program in South Australia, Tech Start, for the space, defence and technology industries, and will help women gain micro-credentials via Modis' tech academy for work in entry-level space roles.

"We're going to train 100 females in cybersecurity and data analytics... and they will [hopefully] then be placed into roles in the Australian Space Agency," Wallis says...
