PeopleIn calls for "right balance" in national labour hire regulation

PeopleIn has expressed support for a national scheme that harmonises labour hire processes and systems, but says its operation shouldn't fall under the remit of the Fair Work Ombudsman.

As the "largest talent solutions business listed on the ASX", PeopleIn has produced a position paper on the Federal Government's proposed labour hire reforms, stating it supports a "national minimum standard that promotes accountability and ensures all sector operators are held to common standards of transparency and compliance".

"A single compliance framework recognises many labour hire providers operate their businesses across geographical and current jurisdictional boundaries; harmonising processes and systems for both business, government and regulators therefore makes sense," it says...
