PeopleScout going beyond "paint by numbers approach to RPO"

PeopleScout is six months into a "fairly significant capability shift" to provide more value to clients and boost its own retention, says new APAC managing director Tim Powell.

"It's not just a 'paint by numbers' approach to RPO... One of the core focuses is to enhance the value to our clients, but really it's also about providing more meaningful careers for our people," he tells Shortlist.

Powell, who joined PeopleScout six months ago after more than five years with Korn Ferry in Australia and overseas, says it's been "hard going, like everyone knows in this market, particularly around the people equation and retention of people".

"But I think we're making some really good progress," he adds, and he expects the organisation to hit its "BAU cadence" sometime next year...
