Recruiters and the 'right to disconnect'

The "surprise" new right to disconnect that will be introduced to Parliament will add yet another area of regulation to staffing providers, a workplace lawyer says.

As reported on Friday, the Labor Government plans to introduce an amended version of the Closing Loopholes No. 2 Bill this week.

Subject to crossbench negotiations, it will include a new 'right to disconnect' for employees, although at the time of publishing this article the wording of the provisions was yet to be made public.
