Recruitment activity poised to lift in Q3

Australia's hiring demand is set to increase 'moderately' through the third quarter of 2023, according to ManpowerGroup's latest research.

The ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey (MEOS), involving more than 1,000 respondents, shows that 46% of employers plan to hire over the next three months, up two percentage points from the current quarter's MEOS.

Some 12% of employers expect to decrease staff levels, 38% plan to keep their workforce steady and 4% remain undecided, bringing Australia's seasonally adjusted Net Employment Outlook (NEO) for Q3 to +37%...
