Recruitment talent facing a "pressure point" amid remote work and down market

The recruitment industry is facing a major "pressure point" in its own talent pipeline, with agencies now less willing to hire less experienced recruiters and these same consultants lacking development opportunities, says U&U MD Craig Sneesby.

"From what I can see, a lot of bosses in recruitment are now shying away from the junior hires – the higher-risk hires," due to their lower business development skills, he tells Shortlist.

At the same time, these consultants aren't developing as quickly, due to the prevalence of working from home and their lack of exposure to more senior recruiters...
