Seek "months away" from releasing new AI products

Seek is likely just months away from launching new generative-AI tools to help both jobseekers and hiring managers, its director of AI product says.

Seek now has one of the largest artificial intelligence and data science teams in the Asia Pacific, Cathy Arnold tells Shortlist. It has been investing in the technology for about 10 years, and since she joined six years ago the team has grown from about 35 members, to more than 200.

With AI now underpinning all its products, she says, "we've seen some really huge impacts for our customers in that time... and in the last year or so that pace of change of technology has only accelerated..."
