Seek plans to "unlock new value" for advertisers through AI and data, according to CEO Ian Narev, who acknowledges recruiters' "frustration" with current response rates.
Talking through Seek's FY22 results this morning, Narev said he understands many recruiters "have had greater frustration with responses to the ads".
Candidate engagement with the site has remained high, with average monthly unique visitors up 6% year-on-year, but the higher number of job ads mean a lower rate of applications per ad is widespread across all industries, he says.
