Sourcing skills amp up tech employer's headhunting success

A tech company has responded to the talent crunch by investing heavily in its searching and selling capabilities, to the point where half of its new hires come from headhunting.

"We started... spending a lot of active time looking for great fits for our current roles, searching for different individuals who don't necessarily see our postings, and reaching out to see if they're interested," says Aircall APAC senior talent acquisition and HR specialist Kayla Antoniou.

"The best talent doesn't always come to you, and taking an active approach goes a long way and also gives you time to look at some unique profiles beyond just those who are applying directly."

Previously, Aircall had relied heavily on direct applications and some RPOs, but now has recruiters for every location, she tells Shortlist...
