Sourcing success held back by poorly automated admin work

Most recruiters are still missing opportunities to automate their sourcing and other day-to-day tasks, which is causing unacceptable delays in time to fill, a sourcing conference has heard.

Notably, it's not uncommon for recruiters to take the same amount of time to complete a task today as they did five years ago, says Wayne Technologies founder and sourcer Mike "Batman" Cohen.

"If you're spending the same amount of time doing that sh-t today, you're doing it wrong. There's a better way," he says.

"When we're thinking of ROI, oftentimes we're thinking about the money we spend and the placements we get: I spent $10,000 on an ad, and I made two hires – that's $5,000 per hire...
