Strategy focus will "nail the roadblocks" in TA

A lot of commentators are suggesting talent acquisition is somehow "broken", but the problem isn't around process so much as strategy, an industry advisor says.

Talent Table director Andrea Kirby and many of her peers have been noticing "a lot of people coming out and saying that talent acquisition is broken, that we are not doing enough, there's more we could be doing", she tells Shortlist.

Her take is that there are always challenges around process; but some of those problems wouldn't be an issue "if we were a lot more strategic about what it is that we're trying to do"...
