TA salaries "stabilise"; Gen Z intolerant of poor candidate experience

In-house recruiter salaries haven't moved much this year, new research shows. Meanwhile, there are some key differences between how the generations at work engage with agency recruiters and what they're willing to change roles for.

According to boutique recruiter Talentpath's 2023/24 Talent Guide, there has been a 1% salary increase for in-house recruiters in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, compared to last year.

"In 2021–2022, we saw a massive spike in Brisbane – it had been a 12% increase in TA salaries – so we've seen that stabilise," Talentpath director Jody Fazldeen says.

And while most HR and TA professionals say they are happy in their current roles, 40% expect to change jobs in the next year, and 22% are job hunting now...
