Talent hits earnings milestone; makes new hiring pledge

IT recruitment and services company Talent has reported another strong year of growth, cracking $100 million in gross margin and boosting EBITDA by more than 10% to $27.5 million. Meanwhile it has set a new goal to hire a proportion of its workforce via its youth employment charity arm.

Revenue in Talent's core contracting business was up around 16% year-on-year in FY23, while perm was down 25%, says Talent CEO Mark Nielsen.

Perm is now "back on trend", he says, after an FY22 that produced "exceptional results for everyone"...
