The Nudge Group administration report "inaccurate": MD

Reports in mainstream media earlier this week that recruitment company The Nudge Group had gone into administration due to the slowing economy are "inaccurate", says MD Steve Grace.

The articles, in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, feature a "Sorry we are closed" sign and refer to a "spate of recruitment and labour hire companies [that] have crumbled recently as the slowing economy makes employers more reluctant to fork out money to external recruitment firms who are struggling to fill job vacancies with qualified candidates".

Grace tells Shortlist The Nudge Group is "not closed"; rather, it is "trading as normal" and turning over about $2.5 million a year...
