Three more people involved in the Plutus Payroll scandal have been found guilty of conspiring to defraud the Commonwealth and deal with proceeds of crime.
Yesterday morning a NSW Supreme Court jury delivered its verdict for three out of the five defendants: Adam Cranston (the son of a former ATO deputy commissioner); Sydney lawyer Dev Menon; and Jason Onley, the managing director of a finance consultancy.
It found they had conspired to dishonestly cause a loss to the Commonwealth and conspired to deal with money of a value of $1 million or more believing it to be the proceeds of crime.
The jury is still deliberating over its verdict for the remaining defendants, Cranston's sister Lauren Cranston and Patrick Willmott...
