Too many hurdles on the path to 'apply' button: research

For many job applicants, the journey to hitting 'apply' isn't as easy as it could be, with a new report urging organisations to rethink the information and filters they rely on.

In PageUp's research – involving 185,000 jobseekers applying across 377 companies – one in five applicants (amounting to 37,000) say coming across the role "wasn't as easy it could have been".

And this comes down to factors that are "within the control of the organisation", says PageUp head of customer insights and market research, Rebecca Skilbeck...
